Rave-WTF!? Real Housewives of NJ
Beloved ladies of Bravo, this post is dedicated to my favorite train wrecks of the New Jersey cast. And truly, this does seem like a cast of actors, but you can’t make this crap up.
First up, we have Danielle Staub who is leading the headlines this week. As shown on the preview for tomorrow’s episode, she is allegedly outed in a book (now out of print) about her ex-husband-ish Kevin Maher. (the book says he “married” her but was still married to another woman, so technically…) It is possible that her real name is Beverly Merrill, a stripper (this is not the first Bravo Housewife who had changed her name!) who was allegedly involved with some guy in a drug cartel and was charged with extortion, kidnapping, and possesion! Most of the charges were dropped because of bribery the connections her husband had as a conman turned police informant.
The promo shows Lady Luck crying and saying that Dina was the only one who knows about the book. Well hon, now that you are on a REALITY show, everyone knows about the book and it is supposedly selling for $100 a copy online. Her ex-husband-ish is now talking with US Weekly and says that Danielle should be afraid for her life (wtf!). Of course this will be in tomorrows edition of US. (You mean someone will be in it other than Crazy Kate!?) Here is the alleged mug shot…is it really her? Sure looks like it.

Ok, next up is Dina Manzo and her sister/cast mate Caroline Manzo. These sisters married brothers, and everyone is in “business” together. Dina and her husband (who is not on the show, not even on the opening pics of the wive’s famlies…more gossip?) Dina and her huge extravagant wedding were featured on another reality show, so this is not a new gig for her. Dina and Caroline’s father-in-law was Albert “tiny” Manzo–a 350 lb real-life Soprano. He was found in the trunk of a car shot in the back 4 times. the murder was never solved, but it is rumored to be tied to skimming gambling profits from the mob.
Oh the craziness! Who knows exactly how much is true…the Tiny part is true, and who knows about the book. Either way , it makes for a fun night of mindless entertainment. And yes, I suppose this post seems obsessive, but it is actually about the only TV show I regurlarly watch. And yes, I love it. Ok, more later!

I just can’t bring myself to watch this one. I found it be a tad trashy, but maybe I am missing the appeal?
Oh, a tad trashy fo sho! Yes, you are totally missing the appeal! :o)
